I was a little disappointed in the tool. The main body is made of plastic and wouldn’t hold up to hard use. I’m also disapoointed in the zero set feature. There isn’t a stop to zero it to. Of course you can set zero at any angle and I can see a use for that. It is not going to be a super accurate protractor. It’s a nice idea but there are better tools on the market to measure angles.

This is a useful tool that doesn’t claim great accuracy, but let me add a note of caution. The directions tell you to put in the button cell with positive side down. It won’t work that way. The negative electrode must be down. On button cells, the larger profile, wrap-around case is the + terminal. Maybe that’s what confused them. When you turn the instrument on it reads 0.0° no matter what position the blade is in. It should be zeroed with the pointed end of the blade inside the handle and both parts pressed snugly against a flat surface for reference.

This digital T-bevel gauge is more accurate than I expected. It will be a very useful tool for helping layout and check angle corners. I will be using it in a welding enviroment, and the only concern will be the plastic main body. Overall the gauge seems to be well made, and very reasonable in price. Especially helpful when taking measurements to make parts that have to fit.
